Meet with others from across the district in a safe space to discuss your reaction to the book you chose, your "aha" moments, and the impact your new learning can and will have on your role as a teacher in increasingly diverse classrooms. This is a judgment-free space designed for learning with an open mind, heart, and attitude about difficult and often painful topics. Participants will build a network of like-minded individuals, willing to share personal growth and experiences regarding social and racial justice, and the impact the teacher has within a classroom of increasingly diverse students.
